New Slr Cameras Can The Filters From FILM SLR Cameras Be Used For Digital Cameras?

Can the filters from FILM SLR cameras be used for digital cameras? - new slr cameras

I have many filters age, but for a proper 35mm SLR camera. Going filters fog usually very expensive special effects filters. Can they be used in digital SLR news? I still change, because I invested in lenses $ and so on, which can be used from the old to new. I think at some point consider before buying a digital SLR and really good when they go to work. Again, this type of lens is best for shots in the room with the best in small clubs?
Thanks

Yes to the first half, while the size of the wire sI'milar.

Provided for the second part, IM, you want to shoot at home. I recommend a wide angle lens. There is nothing like 17-20mm about 12mm a good picture without much impact. With all due respect, but if you want the best, you need a change in the inclination of the lens, you can control the degree of distortion. Run over $ 2,000 for the better.

But when you're not doing it professionally, myself a wide angle and everything will go well.

In general, the answer is yes. The only thing is that the smallest digital SLR sensor would use a circular polarizing filter.

Whether lenses that fit into a new digital SLR camera. Should be provided that the company did not alter the assembly of the devices. They do not say what kind of camera you have will work but basically any Nikon lens from 1959.
Work for all Canon EOS mount lenses. The FD mount was broken in 1987, and assemble all the cameras from there with the EOS.
Virtually all Pentax lenses to fit the Pentax digital SLR cameras today.
All Minolta lenses that fit on the Sony cameras.
Not sure on the Olympus, but it is likely to function well. The only difference is that most digital SLR cameras, a sensor that is less than 35 mm, which is a factor of culture, you need to add your lens focal legth in use. For most of the 1.5 or 1.6. To achieve a goal of 100 mm, 150-160mm lens. It depends on the company's camera.

A good goal to shoot in the premises would be a great angle. Twas that the focal length to the size of the room, a wide angle would be good to use, depends.

Yes, they work exactly the same if the image is etched by chemical or digital.

To the extent that at the end of the lens, the good work should be.

With a DSLR filter you really need is a UV filter / Haze to protect the front element and a circular polarizing filter. The effects of color filters (red, green, yellow, etc.) can be duplicated in Photoshop. Since the white balance on a digital camera from different light sources (fluorescent lamps, halogen lamps, adapt, etc.), it no longer requires correction filter.

Now on the camera and the compatibility of digital SLR cameras.

Pentax is still using the K-mount introduced in 1975, so that every K-mount lens mount on the Pentax K200D and K20D or its predecessors. There are limitations when you old manual focus lenses, but at least you can use.

Canon FD lens mount changed their bondage to the guy if he's EOS autofocus EOS Rebel presented. So if you have a collection of targets Canon FD lenses are not for use with Canon digital SLR cameras. There may be an adapter, but you have to look for.

Nikon maintains its compatibility with the bayonet, when they went autofocus and then the digital SLR camera.

Minolta changed their lens mount of the MC / MD bayonetAssembly in 1985, when it introduced 7000 A-mount Maxxum autofocus. Since the Sony DSLR technology acquired from Konica-Minolta a-mount stand. If you work a collection of Minolta a-mount lenses are in A100/200/300/350/700 Sony. If you are the contact lenses MC / MD mount is useless if you can find an adapter.

From the mount digital SLR cameras, the Olympus 4 / 3, you have the MF-1 Olympus OM (OM to 4 / 3 adapter) to the old lenses using digital SLRs Olympus Olympus. This adapter only works with the following cameras: E-520, 510, 500, 420, 410, 330, 300, E-3 and E-1.
